EFFECTIVE 15 AUGUST 2026
Privacy policy
Effective 21 August 2026.
This covers the three games published by FCS Tech: FC Education, Chippi Twins Sweet Home, and Buddy Gator — Tile. It is written to be read once, in full, without a lawyer.
The short version. We do not ask for your name, your email, or your location. The games show ads, and you can change your ad choices at any time from the game's settings. Some of them also report crashes and count which parts people reach; that has no in-game switch, and the table below says exactly which game does it on which platform. One game lets you sign in so your progress follows you to a new phone; the others keep everything on the device.
WHO WE ARE
FCS Tech, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. We are the data controller for the games listed here. For anything at all, including a request to delete your data, write to fcstech.it@gmail.com — a real person reads it.
Chippi Twins and Buddy Gator are characters used under licence from their creators. The games themselves are built and operated by FCS Tech, so this policy — not the character owners' — governs what the games collect.
WHAT EACH GAME COLLECTS
| Game | Where | Sign-in | Saved where | Ads | Crash & usage |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| FC Education | iOS, Android | None | Your device | Google AdMob | Android only — Crashlytics + Analytics. iPhone: none |
| Chippi Twins Sweet Home | iOS, Android | Optional | Your device — and the cloud, if you sign in | Google AdMob | Firebase Crashlytics + Analytics |
| Buddy Gator — Tile | iOS, Android | None | Your device | Google AdMob | Firebase Crashlytics + Analytics |
What we never collect
- Your name, postal address, phone number or date of birth.
- Your GPS or precise location. Ad networks may infer a rough region from your IP address; we never receive or store a location ourselves.
- Photos, contacts, files, microphone or camera. The games do not ask for these permissions.
- Payment card details. Purchases are handled entirely by Google Play or the Apple App Store — we are told only that a purchase succeeded.
ADVERTISING
The games are free, and ads are how they are paid for. We use Google AdMob. To show an ad, AdMob uses your device's advertising ID — a resettable number that is not your name and is not tied to any account of ours — along with technical details such as your device model, language, and coarse region derived from your IP address.
On iPhone and iPad: the tracking prompt
Apple requires a separate permission before an app may use the device's advertising identifier (the IDFA). iOS asks you once, in a system dialog, and you can say no — the game is identical either way, and you will simply see ads chosen by context rather than by history. You can change the answer at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. This is a different question from the European consent form below, and answering one does not answer the other.
Personalised ads and your consent
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the game asks you — before its first ad — whether ads may be personalised, using Google's official consent form. You can say no and keep playing. You will simply see non-personalised ads instead, which are chosen by context rather than by history.
To change your mind later, open the game's settings and choose Privacy options. The same form reappears and your new answer takes effect from the next ad.
You can also reset or delete the advertising ID itself at any time, for every app on the phone at once, in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads. Google's own explanation of how it uses data from apps is at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
About "precise geolocation" in that form
The European consent form is standard industry text, and it mentions that partners may use precise geolocation. These games cannot give them any. None of them asks for location permission — you will never see Android's or iOS's "allow location" prompt from us — so there is no GPS position on the device for us or anyone else to share. What an ad network can still infer is the rough area your IP address suggests, which is the same thing any website sees, and that is covered above.
Removing ads
FC Education sells a one-off purchase that permanently removes the ads the game shows you on its own — the banner at the top of the screen, and the occasional full-screen ad at the end of a session.
Rewarded videos, which the purchase does not remove
A rewarded video is one you choose to watch in exchange for something in the game. Because you ask for it rather than being shown it, it stays available to everyone — including players who have bought the ad removal. It never plays on its own, and never interrupts you.
Three things are worth being plain about:
- You have to watch it through to the end to get the reward. Closing it early earns nothing — there is no partial reward.
- If you are offline, or no ad is available, there is nothing to watch and nothing to claim. Ads need a connection; the game does not. You are never blocked, never charged, and never owed anything you cannot be given.
- Watching one uses the same advertising ID and consent choice described above. If you have refused personalised ads, a rewarded video is non-personalised like any other.
CRASHES AND USAGE
We use Firebase Crashlytics to learn that a game crashed and Firebase Analytics to learn which parts of a game people actually reach. A crash report contains the line of code that failed, the device model and the operating system version. Analytics counts events such as "finished the tutorial". Neither carries your name, and we cannot use either to identify you personally.
Not every game does this, and not on every platform. FC Education reports crashes and counts usage on Android only. The iPhone version ships neither and sends us nothing of this kind at all. The table above is the per-game summary.
There is no in-game switch for it. An earlier version of this policy said the two could be turned off together in one tap. That was wrong — the control was never built — and we have corrected the text rather than leave you looking for a setting that does not exist. If you want collection stopped or a report already held deleted, email fcstech.it@gmail.com and we will do it and confirm when it is done.
SIGNING IN — CHIPPI TWINS SWEET HOME ONLY
Chippi Twins Sweet Home offers an optional sign-in so your progress survives a lost or replaced phone. If you use it, we store your saved game in Google Cloud Firestore against an account identifier. That record holds game progress and nothing else — no name, no email address, no contact details beyond what the sign-in provider gives us to tell one player from another.
You never have to sign in. Declining leaves the game fully playable with the save on your device.
Deleting it. Email fcstech.it@gmail.com from the address you signed in with, or from any address quoting your in-game name, and we will delete the stored save within 30 days and confirm when it is done. There is no charge and we will not ask you to reconsider.
PURCHASES
Purchases go through Google Play Billing on Android and the Apple App Store on iPhone and iPad. The store handles the payment and tells us only that a specific product was bought, so the game can unlock it. We never see your card number, and we never receive your billing address. Refunds are handled by the store you bought from, under its own policy.
CHILDREN
These games are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. They are not part of Google Play's Designed for Families programme. If you believe a child has provided us with data, write to us and we will delete it.
WHO ELSE SEES DATA
We do not sell data, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing. Data reaches only the services that make the games work:
- Google AdMob — to select and measure ads (privacy policy).
- Google Firebase — crash reporting, analytics, and the optional Chippi Twins save (privacy terms).
- Google Play — distribution and payments on Android (privacy policy).
- Apple — distribution and payments on iPhone and iPad (privacy policy).
- Unity — the engine the games are built with.
HOW LONG WE KEEP THINGS
Crash reports are kept up to 90 days. Analytics counts are kept up to 14 months in aggregate. A Chippi Twins cloud save is kept until you ask us to delete it, or until the account has been inactive for two years. Anything held on your device disappears when you uninstall the game.
YOUR RIGHTS
Wherever you live, you may ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, or withdraw a consent you have given. In the EEA and UK this is the GDPR; in Malaysia, the Personal Data Protection Act 2010; other places have their own equivalents and we apply the same standard to everyone. One email to fcstech.it@gmail.com is enough — there is no form. We answer within 30 days.
Our lawful basis for ads is your consent where consent is required, and our legitimate interest in funding a free game where it is not. For crash reporting it is our legitimate interest in the game not being broken. There is no in-game switch for it; the email above is how you stop it.
CHANGES
If this policy changes in a way that affects what we collect, we will change the effective date at the top and say what changed in the game's store listing for that release. We will not quietly broaden it.
